<\/a>Bill opens the highbay door <\/div>
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and at LDB,
\nA SPIDER was scanning, cared for by Bill and me,
\nCyrogenic detectors, superconducting,
\nStill stuck in our highbay, behind walls obstructing
\nHer view of the cosmos, the microwave sky,
\nWaiting for the balloon that will carry her high,
\nAnd the night shift is quiet, St Nick too far north,
\nSo I watch SPIDER move, back and forth, back and forth…<\/p>\n
We got some snowfall tonight, so Bill and I had some fun decorating SPIDER and photographing her in the snow.<\/p>\n
