Update 22 June 2010: I’ve added some images acquired from Juan’s camera.
Not a lot of pictures were taken yesterday. I had broken the DAS with a code update and spent a while wrestling with that. Afterwards, we used the XY-stage to make a map of the beam coming out of the cryostat.
- Compiler segfaults are exactly what one needs when already horribly confused an frstrated
- The XY stage, with cold source and shutter hidden behind a sheet of eccosorb
- The XY stage cables are really tangled. They will be fun to untangle
- BLUEY, a strange blue fly captured by Tony and adoptively mothered by Natalie
- After feeding Bluey some chocolate, Natelie decides she should be let free
- Fly Bluey, *sob*, fly!
- Machined aluminum heat strap. This will be replaced by flexible copper heat strapping, which is way better
- Third reason to redo beam maps: broken solder joint on 350μm bias
- Another night of pointing tests, as seen from outside
- Mark celebrates with a cigar
