Yesterday was BLAST’s last time going out with Tiny Tim. It’s sad, I know. Yesterday was important for 2 reasons – 1) We passed compatability! ie. when all our stuff is turned on, it doesn’t mess with CSBF’s stuff; and 2) I found out the story behind what we were calling the “Awesome Chair of Awesomeness” on Tiny Tim – – it is The Chair from which the call to abort the launch is made. And the official name for it (according to Curtis the Rigger) is the “Oh Shit Chair”.

After the sunshields come off, Nick removes the star cameras so the cryostat can be installed. Meanwhile, hundreds of people visit a certain website…

Laura missed breakfast, and we don’t have any food in the highbay today. So here she is either working on mcp, or dazed from lack of food and having an out-of-body experience

Giles gets called on a lot to drive back to the hotel to rescue people who got “left behind”. Thanks Giles!

BLAST on Tim once again. BLAST is happy on Tim. BLAST wishes it could be on Tim forever. Tim feels the same way about BLAST.

CSBF guys also possess a level of coolness and awesomeness to which I aspire

Mark ordered/encouraged me to photograph BLAST from the roof, so I obliged

While I’m up there, I get a photo of the launch pad / exercise track / stargazing venue / land of wild boars

This time, I think Barth wanted a picture of him looking “confused”. But once again I think the emotion captured is “concerned”

Tim brings BLAST back safe and sound from their last date… for now…
