Most of this week, to me, has been a blur of sleep-deprived night shifts. During this time, Javier, Mathew, and Barth work furiously to test and fix code. Others of us help while trying to stay out of the way. Meanwhile, the day team has been finalizing the little details and arts and crafts to get BIT ready to fly.
Preparing to point
At the start of a night
Looking carefully at somethin
I can't at all recall what
Adjusting mirror alignment
While using a real star, not the collimator mirror
More night shift action
Morning shift
Mighty foam chain
Bling
Vy added some golden accents
Steven makes a template for a very important side project
Final painting
The power system
With orange markers to help the reocvery crew not shock themselves
Accessing the final uncovered porthole
The top one, for the roll star camera, is never covered
The highbay
People, and bugs, congregate around the monitor light
Working all the way until dawn
At which point the sky gets too bright to continue
Steven and Aldous add more bling
Side project completed
A replacement for the broken blackboard, with a little Canadian touch
Bling complete
Richard has been spearheading the effort to have GoPros on the payload
Relaxing while bit points at night
