We got the timelapse video webcam running yesterday (turns out it still had bugs). If I get around to it, I might make semi-recent views from the webcam available on this site.
There was a bit more unpacking to do, but we pretty much got to real work: cable making, box fixing, and painting things white for the Bemco (thermal vacuum chamber) testing.
- The webcam is set up with a computer in the corner
- Closeup of webcam, cable tied to a support beam
- The webcam-eye view of the highbay
- Similar to painting white, Juan tapes inside boxes with aluminised mylar tape
- The result is a shiny inside with good thermal absorption and emission
- Over in the west highbay, things are being painted white
- Juan does most of the painting
- Meanwhile in the east highbay, computer work is afoot
- And Dina makes cables
